About ICT Academy
ICT Academy is an initiative of the Government of India in collaboration with the state Governments and Industries. ICT Academy is a not-for-profit society, the first of its kind pioneer venture under the Public-Private- Partnership (PPP) model that endeavours to train the higher education teachers and students thereby exercises on developing the next generation teachers and industry ready students.
ICT Academy was started to meet the skill requirements of the industry and generate more employment especially in tier 2 and 3 towns, the rural parts of the country. The organization was formed with representations from the State Government of Tamil Nadu, leading companies in the ICT industry and National Association of Software Services Companies (NASSCOM) in India.
Objectives
Adhiyamaan College of Engineering is the institutional member of ICT Academy. This membership model is developed to benefit the higher educational institutions. ICT Academy in partnership with academic institution has been working through a seven pillar program like

Through these programmes, the institution in association with ICT Academy, has contributed to the strengthening of India's four key visions: Make in India, Digital India, Startup India, and Skill India.

FINISHING SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR EMPLOYABILITY POWERED BY INFOSYS FOUNDATION In association with ICT ACADEMY

The Finishing School Program for Employability, powered by Infosys Foundation in association with ICT Academy and the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department, was organized with a focus on enhancing students' employability. The program consists of 20 hours of soft skills training and 80 hours of technical training aimed at preparing participants for the job market. The Program started from 16th September to11thOctober.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering successfully organized a Five-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Internet of Things” from 4-08-2025 to 08-08-2025, with the active participation of 20 Internal faculty members from our institution and 14 External participants from various reputed colleges. The program covered fundamental and advanced concepts of IoT, including architecture, sensors, communication protocols and practical hands-on sessions

The Government of Tamil Nadu’s 4th Technology Conference is scheduled to be held on January 8 and 9 at the Chennai Trade Centre. As part of this initiative, HCL Tech, in collaboration with ICT Academy, has selected 59 colleges across 20 districts of Tamil Nadu. Adhiyamaan Engineering College, located in Krishnagiri district, is one among the selected institutions.With the objective of reaching more than 10,000 students in Krishnagiri district, a preview technology conference was organized on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. at the auditorium of Adhiyamaan Engineering College.The event featured an interactive session between students and industry professionals, focusing on emerging technologies and industry expectations.A key highlight of this event was the panel discussion on “Techpreneur vs Ideapreneur”, moderated by Dr. G. Fathima (HoD–CSE), featuring industry leaders from HCLTech,Ms. Smita Hariharan, General Manager,Mr. Akash Upadhyay, Partner Success Lead. The discussion provided valuable insights into innovation, entrepreneurship, industry expectations, and scaling ideas into sustainable solutions.The student idea pitching session showcased creative, technology-driven, and socially relevant solutions, reflecting strong entrepreneurial and problem-solving skills.UMAGINEDX is more than an event—it is a movement, empowering students with AI, innovation, sustainable design, and professional skills to build a smarter, innovation-driven India.
